Central Heating Power Flushing
Restore efficiency and clear corroded, sludged pipework
Over years, central heating systems fill with a black, sludgy build-up of corrosion. It settles in the radiators and pipework, blocks circulation, makes the boiler work harder and can shorten its life. The tell-tale signs are cold patches at the bottom of radiators and a boiler that bangs or kettles.
A power flush pushes clean water and cleaning agent through the whole system at pressure, breaking up and removing that build-up. It's often the difference between a system that limps along and one that heats evenly again — and it's frequently recommended alongside a new boiler to protect the guarantee.

Clears what's blocking the system
We flush the corrosion and sludge out of your radiators and pipework, freeing up circulation so heat reaches every part of every radiator. One of our customers described us flushing the system through and getting it up and running "very quickly" — that's the aim: an even, efficient system by the end of the day.
Protects your boiler and guarantee
A clean system is easier on the boiler and helps it run efficiently. We often power-flush as part of a new boiler installation, and add an inhibitor afterwards to slow future corrosion — worth doing, as many manufacturers expect a clean system for the guarantee.
What's included
- Full system power flush
- Corrosion and sludge removed
- Cold spots and slow warm-up resolved
- Circulation and efficiency restored
- Inhibitor added to protect the system
- Recommended with new boiler installs
